CollegaMe is a new tracking system for indoor use based on iBeacon technology. CollegaMe system uses an operating system icloud where the enabled user can supervise in real time the position and movements of a mobile device smartphone or tablet and communicate by a data connection 3G.
CollegaMe can be used where the GPS system doesn’t work such as indoor or buildings with many floors. It has been conceived for professional cleaning sector and it allows, with a small amount, to trace service trolleys in hospital, and to find the area where is carried out the service in real time.
CollegaMe is also able, using its operating system, to send and receive alert messages or different information on a turned on mobile device.
CollegaMe works using the newest iBeacon technology based on the standard Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The restrained cost of transmission devices iBeacon makes the insallation particularly low cost and “adjustable” following the real needs of the user, who can decide which degree of attention wish in tracking: as many Beacon will be placed on the device more will be
the precision of the system.
The transmission devices Beacon are small transmitters self-powered by battery. Their placement is without any cost of installation or changements of the existing structures.
They can be glued by a double-sided tape
and are powered by small batteries assuring a long autonomy (more than one year following the models).
Beacon send a Bluetooth Low Energy signal with a low
range adequate to pick up the app CollegaMe placed on the enabled mobile devices.
CollegaMe, by its operating system, gives
an accurate picture of the opertions at the moment of the connection. Easy to use it
can be employed in cloud or installed on a
pc.
The user can enter into the operating system logging in to the account of the company as enabled user.
The qualification, and data sharing is managed by the Admin
of the account following the release of
precise privileges.
Following the requests of the user specific tools can be developed to elaborate stathistics, flow analysis, to optimize some interior ways or for other specific needs of the user.
By the operating system CollegaMe is possible to receive and send Alert messages or information from and for each single device. The operator can use the system to send damages signals or other information useful for the management of the maintenances.
The use of CollegaMe is allowed on the
basis of an annual rent or for the duration
of the commission. The necessary devices
for system operation (Beacon transmitters, Tablet or pc) can be found on the market directly by the user. Beacon devices BLE available on the market are compatible.
A mobile device on a service trolley can make usable some information useful for the operator and for the Client.
This is a smart and up-to date way to get available the floors,
safety sheets of the products, to communicate with the company
and send and receive information in real time: everything to offer
a better service in complete safety.
The compatibility of CollegaMe to devices available on the market makes the system particularly flexible and easy to develop.
